Admitted to the New York Bar in 1982, Mona graduated from New York Univesity School of Law in 1981. She was a staff member and member of the editorial board at the N.Y.U. Journal of International Law and Politics from 1979-1981.
Initially trained in commercial litigation with well respected large New York City law firms, Mona soon found that her true calling was in matrimonial law.
She has been active in and lectured for various educational forums and bar associations in the area of matrimonial law for decades.
